English- Independent Reading- Biography

Fifth grade students will be reading biographies independently. Students must select and show my their choice by FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9th. I will check the reading level and content and students may begin reading it.

Biographies must be read by Monday, September 26th. We will work on a Power Point presentation of the book in Computer and English class.

Students may borrow a book from my classroom library, the SESO library, MAYAGÜEZ Children's Library, or purchase one from Amazon (or other online sellers). I can recommend the "Who Was..."series available here.

Examen de Español: viernes, 2 de septiembre de 2011. Los estudiantes anotaron la guía de estudio en la libreta de Español.

La sirenita sin voz: ya deben comenzar a leer la novela se evaluará el viernes, 7 de octubre de 2011.

Importante: en la libreta de Español se grapará hoy 29 de agosto un papel para ver el progreso de lectura de su hij@. Debe firmar el papel cada vez su hij@ lea la novela. La maestra firmará y revisará todos los viernes y se harán anotaciones de ser necesario.

Unfortunately, I was not aware that SESO's email will not be configured to receive external email until next week. I will let you know when my school email is completely functional and we can try this again. Thanks for your cooperation.

Also, remember to fill out and hand in EMERGENCY cards, which are due on Friday.
